The Vent Haus is here to listen to you and support your journey, but we are not licensed therapists, psychologists, or healthcare professionals.
The Vent Haus provides nonclinical listening and emotional support. The Services are not therapy, mental health counseling, medical treatment, crisis intervention, emergency services, or another licensed professional service.

Venting Session Guidelines
Sessions are held via Zoom (video or audio-only).
Cameras are turned off by default - so you can join from anywhere - but can be turned on upon request if both sides are comfortable with it.
Booking & Payment Policy

All sessions must be booked in advance through our website. A booking is not considered complete, and the session is not guaranteed until payment has been received.

Cancellation & refund Policy
Change of plans? No problem!
Cancellations:
To cancel, please email us at theventhaus@gmail.com at least 24 hours before your appointment.
Refunds:
Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time of a session are eligible for a full refund of the amount paid for that session.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time are subject to the applicable late cancellation fee listed below. The remaining balance will be refunded.
Late Cancellation Fees:
$10 for The Mini Meltdown
$15 for The Midday Mind Dump
$25 for The Deep Vent
$35 for The Rehearsal Vent
The Vent Consultation is a free consultation and is not subject to the paid-session late cancellation fee schedule above.
Approved refunds are typically returned to the original payment method within five (5) to seven (7) business days. Actual posting time may vary depending on the payment processor or financial institution.

rescheduling Policy
Need to Reschedule? We totally get it!
To reschedule, please email us at theventhaus@gmail.com at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment.
Please make sure to provide us with alternative dates or times that work best for you, and we'll do our best to accommodate you (subject to availability).
A reschedule is not effective unless and until The Vent Haus confirms the new appointment time.

No-Show Policy
Missed Sessions happen- Here's what next!
If you miss a scheduled paid session without prior notice, you forfeit the full session fee, and no refund is due for that missed session.
Since The Vent Consultation is free, no paid-session fee is forfeited for a missed consultation.

Phone guidelines
The Vent Hause phone number provided is for inquiries only and it is not intended for unscheduled session calls. Sessions are conducted only at scheduled times, as agreed upon beforehand.
By using our services, you agree to use this phone number for inquiries only, and not to conduct sessions outside of scheduled times. We reserve the right to decline calls that attempt to do so.
